Miller says government ‘remains open to dialogue’ following OPP dismantling of Tyendinaga Mohawk rail blockade

Ontario Provincial Police arrested “several” people Monday at a railway blockade in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, which was set up nearly three weeks ago in solidarity with anti-pipeline protests in northern British Columbia. Speaking to reporters in Ottawa on Monday, Minister of Indigenous Services Marc Miller said the government “remains open to dialogue” and is “more committed than ever” to a peaceful resolution to the Canada-wide crisis.
