Protesters face arrests if Tyendinaga blockades not dismantled by midnight deadline

Ontario Provincial Police and CN rail told protesters at a rail blockade on Tyendinaga Mohawk territory that they would be given immunity if the blockade was dismantled by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23. The demonstration is in support of Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs, who oppose a natural gas pipeline that would run through their territory. Morganne Campbell reports.
