English singer Elton John was forced to cut his Feb. 16 Auckland concert short after he lost his voice during the performance. The 72-year-old, who had earlier told the crowd he’d been diagnosed with pneumonia but still wanted to push ahead with the show, eventually walked off the stage after his voice became audibly hoarse.
