Foreign Affairs Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne said on Wednesday that the flight being used to evacuate Canadians from Wuhan was delayed because weather caused the plane to miss its “narrow flight window” set out by China to countries evacuating citizens. They said people on the manifest must arrive at the airport in Wuhan no later than 5 p.m. local time on Thursday. He added they were still considering a second plane for others seeking evacuation.
