Heritage minister says Canadian government has ‘no intention’ to regulate news content: Yale report

Minister of Canadian Heritage Steven Guilbeault spoke on Monday about the Yale report that was issued last week, and emphasized that the federal government has “no intention to impose licensing requirements on news organizations” nor will the government try to regulate news content. The report contains 97 recommendations for Canada’s broadcast and communications sector.
