The first incident of person-to-person spread of coronavirus in the United States was reported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday, bringing the total number of U.S. cases to six. The case was confirmed in Illinois, with the infected individual being the husband of a woman who had previously travelled to China and was confirmed as having the virus.
