Kobe Bryant death: NTSB says helicopter crash was ‘high energy impact’

The NTSB said in a press conference on Tuesday that the rate of descent of the helicopter that crashed on Sunday, killing nine people including Kobe Bryant, was over 2,000 feet a minute, calling it a “high energy impact” crash. They also said that based on recovery of the aircraft indicates the helicopter was “in one piece” when it impacted the ground.
