U.N. says global economy ‘anemic,’ incomes likely to suffer in 2020: ‘ We’re in troubled times’

Incomes in a number of countries will stagnate or decline in 2020, the United Nations said on Thursday. Richard Kozul-Wright, head of Globalization and Development Strategies at the U.N. Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) said that the economy is in “troubled times,” and that they expect growth to remain “anemic” in most advanced economies, including the United States.
