Protests in Lebanon turned violent on Wednesday, with dozens wounded after Lebanese security forces used batons and tear gas to forcefully break up demonstrations. Anti-government protesters also hurled stones and fireworks at security forces outside a Beirut police station where over 50 demonstrators were being detained from the night before.
