B.C. government disbanded RCMP unit after damning report on organized crime in casinos

An exclusive Global News investigation reveals the RCMP’s former Integrated Illegal Gambling Enforcement Team uncovered evidence of illegal activity, such as sexual slavery, child abuse, and corruption, within British Columbia’s casinos. But the B.C. government later deemed the IIGET “ineffective” and disbanded it.
