Pompeo say U.S. airstrike that killed Soleimani ‘saved American lives’

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said he’s “confident” the U.S. airstrike that killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, as well as other measures taken as part of the Trump administration’s “maximum pressure campaign” on Iran, has saved American lives.
