On Wednesday, Green Party MP Elizabeth May said that Canadian infrastructure should not be “hard-wired to fossil fuels” and that the government should not be investing in large-scale polluting activities that increase its greenhouse gas emissions, such as going ahead with the construction of the Trans Mountain pipeline.
