A car bomb struck Tal Abyad by the Turkish border in northern Syria, on Nov. 23. Turkish-aligned forces had taken control of Tal Abyad in October. The local council of the town said that nine people were killed and 20 others injured and the blamed the attack on Kurdish militant groups.
