Remembrance Day 2019: How battlefield remains are identified decades later

Canada has lost hundreds of thousands of men and women in service to their country. Thousands of Canada’s war dead are yet to be found. When battlefield remains are discovered, a special military team works tirelessly to uncover the fallen soldiers’ identities so that they can be laid to rest with honour. This is the story of the Canadian Armed Forces Casualty Identification Program.
