‘Absolutely, yes:’ Bernier confirms Nova Scotia PPC candidate’s tweets were racist
Description
October 12, 2019
People’s Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier has now confirmed that tweets sent out earlier this year by Nova Scotia PPC candidate Sybil Hogg were “absolutely” racist and Islamophobic. But as Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, the Sackville-Preston-Chezzetcook contender won’t face any consequences for the social media posts.
