Political parties ‘micro-targeting’ voters on Facebook

The federal political parties are spending thousands of dollars vying for space on voters’ Facebook feeds. They’re using data to collect information about you and your behaviour, which helps them target ads directly to you – ads that will press your buttons. Jeff Semple spoke with Julian Wheatland, a former Cambridge Analytica executive, who says Canadians should be wary.
