Peterborough-Kawartha candidates discuss opioid crisis

It has been a deadly year for opioid related overdoses in Peterborough.
So far in 2019, 26 people have died while nearly 200 others have overdosed – far eclipsing the numbers last year with three months left to go.
The opioid crisis is a major issue in the upcoming election.
Mark Giunta spoke with Peterborough-Kawartha candidates about their plans to deal with the issue.
