Film Festival pick features Peterborough actor

Prolific theatre actor and former Peterborough radio personality Terry Novak finds himself the star of “The Manhattan Project,” a feature film about death, dying and how community can affect both. Matthew Campanile’s “The Manhattan Project” (Bell Tower Productions/Hot Point Pictures 2019) premieres at The Toronto Independent Film Festival on September 11th during the same time TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) takes place. Wednesday’s premiere is already sold out; does that take the sting out of having to act during a Canadian winter, on a frozen Barry’s Bay …. in shorts and a Hawaiian shirt?
