Environment Minister Catherine McKenna announced on Aug. 27 that the government will be providing Ontarians who purchase energy-efficient appliances rebates and will be called the Energy Savings Rebate Program. Retailers across the province participating in the rebate initiative include Rona, Lowe’s, Canadian Tire, Best Buy Canada, and Tepperman’s.
