Residents of Arganda del Rey, a municipality of the Madrid region located 30 km south of the Spanish capital, removed mountains of hail from businesses inside a covered market after a powerful storm hit central Spain on Aug. 26, provoking flash floods. Residents of Arganda del Rey spoke of their horror as saw flash flood turning over cars and rivers of water dragging trash containers down the streets.
