MMIWG inquiry a ‘failure’: Family of murdered Indigenous woman

On August 26, 25 years ago, Sonya Cywink went missing. Four days later, her body was found outside of London, Ont. Like thousands of other missing and murdered Indigenous women, her killer has never been found. It’s something Sonya’s family and community band leaders say continues to be an issue in Indigenous communities. Jamie Mauracher explains.
