Defence lawyers react to ‘show trial’ after El Chapo sentenced to life in prison

Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s defense lawyer Jeffrey Lichtman spoke to media after the Mexican drug lord was sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday in New York, saying that this was all a “show trial” and that it didn’t make a difference how the jury voted.
