New funding to help victims of domestic abuse

The federal government has given $1 million to UBC Okanagan to fund research for head trauma in domestic violence cases. UBCO is working with the Kelowna Women’s Shelter as part of their research, and they aim to provide better support and education for those who serve victims of domestic violence.
