OPP probe suspicious fire at abandoned home in Alderville First Nation

Northumberland OPP are investigating after a suspicious fire at an abandoned home in Alderville First Nation early Sunday morning.

An officer happened to notice the flames in the building on Megyaak Drive just after 1 a.m.

By the time fire crews arrived – the structure was engulfed in flames.
With no power in the building, police say they believe the fire was deliberately set.
