Cramahe Township mayor tackles weeds

Talk about walking the walk. Cramahe Township’s mayor spent part of her Sunday getting rid of dog-strangling vine on County Road 2. Mayor Mandy Martin worked with veteran landscaper Amy Quinn to get rid of the weeds in the ditch off Shelter Valley Road, a week after council voted to stop using the brand name pesticide “Roundup.”
