Andrew Scheer rejects use of ‘genocide’ in reference to MMIWG

At an unrelated press conference on Monday in Ottawa, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer stood by his rejection of the word “genocide” in reference to missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls in Canada, saying that he doesn’t believe it falls into the category or definition. ​
