Organizers say over a million people in Hong Kong took part in demonstrations against a proposed extradition law that would allow people suspected of crimes to be sent to mainland China to face trial. As Ross Lord reports, it was Hong Kong’s largest mass protest since the city’s handover to China in 1997.
