Accused Kelowna killer’s testimony under scrutiny

A Kelowna man on trial for a killing that happened in Rutland more than five years ago says he didn’t realize striking another man in the head with a hammer could result in death. Steven Pirko is on the trial for the January 2014 killing of Chris Ausman. Pirko resumed his testimony today with cross examination from the crown. Kelly Hayes has the details of today’s testimony.
