Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer was forced to remove one of his MPs from a justice committee, over controversial comments made at Parliament last week. Michael Cooper has since apologized for quoting from the manifesto written by the man accused of being behind the Christchurch, New Zealand mosque shootings. But as Mike Le Couteur explains, the Muslim man at the centre of Cooper’s comments calls this move a slap on the wrist.
