‘This is a big step forward’: Indigenous rights advocate on bias, prejudice, racism not being part of court evidence

Lawyer and MMIW commissioner Qajaq Robinson says the Supreme Court recognizing in there’s an obligation on judges to ensure bias, prejudice, racism and sexism in cases of sexual assault involving indigenous women do not form part of the evidence is a big step forward.
