There won’t be any more *ruff* days at the office for two Peterborough Police Service dogs after celebrating their retirement on Tuesday. Brothers Hal and Wolfe were imported from Kentucky and began their career with the service in 2013. Police service dogs have many responsibilities, including narcotics detections, tracking, and searching.
The canines are two of six that have served and retired from the Peterborough Police Service canine unit since it was formed in 1997.
