Minister of Public Safety Ralph Goodale held a press conference in Rockland, Ontario on Thursday to provide an update on the flooding in Ottawa and Quebec, saying despite the imminent risk of a rising water flow, it should stabilize in the next couple of days and subside in a week or so if no precipitation should arise in the forecast.
