N.S. justice minister suspends police street checks on pedestrians, vehicle passengers

Three weeks after a report on street checks was released, Justice Minister Mark Furey has announced a moratorium on street checks of pedestrians and vehicle passengers in Nova Scotia. The report found that black men were disproportionately targeted by street checks and recommended the practice be limited or banned. Alicia Draus reports.
