Minister of Trade Jim Carr said Monday that a letter has been sent by Agricultural minister Marie-Claude Bibeau to her counterpart in China requesting that scientists meet to resolve the Canola oil issue. China had claimed that there were hazardous pests in canola imports from Canada.
