Canada urges safety of Pakistani woman acquitted of blasphemy
Asia Bibi went from death row in Pakistan to freedom. She was accused in 2009 of insulting the Muslim Prophet Muhammad during an argument with Muslim farm workers over sharing a water glass – an allegation she has denied. This week, a Pakistani court upheld her acquittal, igniting massive and violent protests.
