A Saskatchewan court is hearing dozens of victim impact statements leading up to the sentencing of Jaskirat Singh Sidhu, the truck driver who caused the Humboldt Broncos bus crash in April 2018. Writing, delivering and listening to these statements can be incredibly painful, but as Heather Yourex-West explains, it can also be an important part of the healing process.
