During a town hall in Regina, Sk., on Thursday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said his government made a decision to buy the Trans Mountain pipeline because Kinder Morgan "was walking away from the pipeline" and it was a priority to get Canadian oil to "markets other than the United States."
