Gavin Newsom says rhetoric of shutting down border carries economic consequence

California Governor Elect Gavin Newsom said the rhetoric of shutting down the border carries with it billions of dollars of economic consequence. Newsom visited the Mexico/California border in San Diego Thursday where he met with advocates who are assisting asylum seekers and toured the Otay Mesa Immigration Detention Center.
