How technology, social media can amplify bad behaviour

Police say the sexual assault of a student at St. Michael’s College School, a prestigious all-boys private Catholic school in Toronto, was shared on social media, and that amounts to child pornography. Global National’s Dawna Friesen talks to retired law professor Wayne MacKay, who’s also the former chair of the Nova Scotia Task Force on Bullying and Cyberbullying, about the damaging effects of sharing sexually explicit images, how social media can fuel bad behaviour, and how parents can educate their kids about exercising good judgment.
