Peterborough Depave Paradise project, largest of its kind in Canada

The area of Water Street beside the No Frills grocery store in downtown Peterborough has been described by locals as a “road to nowhere.”
Now its being transformed and hailed as the largest depave project in Canada and the first project to dig up a roadway and turn it into a green space.
