Okanagan tech sector study: 693 businesses, 12,000 jobs
Description
September 20, 2018
According to a study commissioned by Accelerate Okanagan and the Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission, the tech sector is on track to contribute $1.67 billion to the regional economy in 2018 with nearly 700 businesses and more than 12,000 jobs. Further, the tech sector's year-over-year economic growth since 2013 has been pegged at an average of 15 per cent.

According to a study commissioned by Accelerate Okanagan and the Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission, the tech sector is on track to contribute $1.67 billion to the regional economy in 2018 with nearly 700 businesses and more than 12,000 jobs.
