In the Evening News at 6 – a big change is coming to Saskatchewan's booze business...after Oct. 8 retail liquor permits will be up for sale. New permits aren't being made available, but existing permits can be purchased. This has new players looking at the Saskatchewan market.
Plus, Regina airport is the 15th busiest airport in the country, and after a challenging year for the province with other significant tragedies, they believe it's important to be able to respond effectively if a disaster strikes at the YQR.
