On Thursday, Minister of Finance Bill Morneau spoke about the Trans Mountain pipeline ruling and said the government ‘inherited a flawed environmental review process’ and that they made efforts to improve it. He added that the government will review the Federal Court of Appeal’s decision to halt the expansion and make sure that they are meeting their obligations to consult with indigenous peoples.
