The Polcevera bridge, that collapsed on August 15, was built between 1963 and 1967. Historical footage provided by Italian news agency ANSA shows the various phases of the construction of the bridge. They were shot by Aldo Lisandro, a relative of one of the managers of the bridge construction team.
