First Nations’ candidates claim election interference by federal government

Four candidates who were running to be the new national chief of the Assembly of First Nations claimed election interference by the federal government on Wednesday, with Miles Richardson saying the federal government had divided First Nations enough and Sheila North pointing out Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett’s attendance.
