At this point in the summer, most lawns are yellow and crunchy from the dry, scorching heat. Heather Ray, Manager of water programs at GreenUP, says residents can actually get rewarded by GreenUp for taking steps to conserve water, such as planting drought-resistant plants, and using rain barrels.
