Freeland confident 160,000 auto sector jobs will be protected from U.S. tariffs

Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland responded to fears that U.S. tariffs on Canadian produced auto parts and vehicles could put 160,000 Canadians out of work, saying it is “absurd” to think cars manufactured in Canada would be deemed a security risk to the U.S.
