Wynne, Horwath call Mississauga restaurant blast ‘shocking’, ‘troublesome’
Ontario Liberal leader Kathleen Wynne and NDP leader Andrea Horwath both took a moment from the campaign trail to give their condolences to the victims of the Mississauga restaurant blast on May 24. According to police, 15 people were injured during the blast. Wynne told reporters that she has reached out to one of the owners of the restaurant, as well as the mayor of Mississauga. Horwath called Mississauga a “strong community” and thanked first responders.
