Hawaii Governor David Ige said Saturday the false “inbound missile” alert that was sent out in Hawaii earlier in the day occurred when an “employee pushed the wrong button” during a shift change at the state’s Emergency Management. Ige said the state would be working to improve processes so “it doesn’t happen again.”
