Thu, Jan 11: As with other North American cities, Nova Scotia municipalities are dealing with recycling problems after China stopped taking the supply. Last week, the province announced it would allow plastic to be dumped at the landfill, after Halifax couldn’t find a buyer. So now, a councillor is pushing for a plastic bag shopping ban. Steve Silva reports.
